“Under the Stairs Again” Is an acrylic painting that interprets the artist's experience from high school. Moments are pulled from a point in the artist's life when they felt that they could not connect with fellow peers. Through the lens of grief, the perspective of the piece interprets their solitude and yearning as a young teenager. This work reflects a familiar perspective throughout adolescence, looking through windows, people watching, and looming under the stairs to find your place.
